Alternative Dispute Resolution, an Alternative to Litigation: A Lawyer’s Role in Conflict Resolution, Philippines.

Lawyer’s role in promoting Alternative Dispute Resolution as an alternative to any conflict resolution starts not only when conflict arises, but even during contract drafting or while a case is ongoing in court.

Join us and Jabines & Partners on our next webinar and listen to our legal experts, as we navigate the Philippines’ dynamic ADR mechanisms and how ADR is presently embedded in the court processes.

Loueli Jabines is a lawyer-litigator licensed to practice in the Philippines. Loueli joined CRESCO Holding in Dubai in 2018 and later established a legal career in the Philippines and partnered with equally efficient lawyers in the country.

Her areas of practice are corporate law, criminal, civil, and family law. Having been exposed to litigation, she realized that the key to conflict resolution is availing alternative means of settling disputes. For most of the disputes she handled, mediation avoided a long, protracted, expensive, and emotionally taxing venture.

Her journey towards a career in ADR leads her to become a member of the Asian Institute of ADR. And just recently, she acquired the level of a Trained Arbitrator in a well-established institutional arbitration center, the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center Inc. (PDRCI). Recognizing a societal clamor for empowerment on women, she is also the President of Women Empowering Women Philippines Inc. which is home to many professionals and non-professionals.
